New Minimum Wage rates from 1st October 2014

Please be advised that as of 1st October 2014 the National Minimum Wage will increase as shown below:

Main Rate for workers 21 years and above

From £6.31 per hour to £6.50 per hour

Rate for workers aged 18 to 20 years inclusive

From £5.03 per hour to £5.13 per hour

Rate for workers under 18 years and above compulsory school age

From £3.72 per hour to £3.79 per hour

The apprentice rate will increase by 5p from £2.68 to £2.73 per hour.

If we run your payroll and you  you require us to amend any rates of pay relating to your employees as a result of this change, please let us know as soon as possible.
