Coronavirus – How to avoid fraudsters during the Covid 19 outbreak

Fraudsters and thieves are using the coronavirus pandemic to find new ways to scam people.

Criminals are exploiting the coronavirus by using Phishing emails and texts to trick people into revealing personal or financial information. Be Vigilant.

Banks will never ask you for your full pin or password or ask you to move money from your accounts.

There are a great number of fake HMRC emails and texts offering tax refunds and help. HMRC will never contact you this way.

Ignore any emails claiming to be from HMRC asking you to click a link.
