RADCLIFFE-based accountants Wilds have helped bring smiles to staff and youngsters at a unique integrated children’s care centre.
Kids Kapers have taken delivery of a multi-coloured bubble tube worth more than £1,000 thanks to the generosity of the Blackburn Street firm and West Kirkby-based Experia Innovations.
Wilds decided to reward Kids Kapers after the Kearsley company failed to reach the finals of the SME category in June’s Bolton and Bury Business Awards, organised by the Bolton News and Bury Times.
Mr Mick Seddon, business development director of Wilds, which sponsored the SME section, said: “On reviewing entries for the small and medium sized businesses, there were organisations that had been more profitable and shown greater profit growths. However, there were a number of achievements in the entry by Kids Kapers that really impressed the judges.”
Wilds arranged to present Kids Kapers with a special award which has been kindly donated by their clients, Experia Innovations, which is involved in the manufacture and installation of sensory equipment.
Kids Kapers owner, retired nurse Mrs Carol Dyson, said she was “gobsmacked” to receive the bubble tube at the presentation at the company’s branch in Bolton Road, Kearsley.
